With 30 years of successful projects, Teton Heritage Builders is now a regional general contractor with offices in Jackson Hole and Bozeman, Montana. Inspired by the dynamic landscape of the Rocky Mountain West, they bring the visions of owners, architects, and craftsmen together to create exceptional handcrafted custom homes. Teton Heritage Builders integrates the quintessential elements of the regional palette—stone, timber, log, glass, and steel—to craft high-quality homes that reflect the character of their distinctive surroundings. They pride themselves on providing architects and clients superior service and quality, promoting trusting, comfortable, and effective working relationships that allow them to pursue their clients' interests in quality, schedule, and budget. Teton Heritage Builders had an existing WordPress site that had grown large and difficult to manage over the years. Plugin failures—particularly on their Team page where the grid of headshots would no longer render—forced them to implement workarounds that compromised the design. They wanted to migrate to Webflow, implement strategic improvements, and benefit from added security and performance while maintaining the look and feel that team members, trusted partners, and clients had come to know, which we are proud to say we delivered.
Teton Heritage Builders wanted to use this migration as an opportunity to address several key issues with their previous website. These elements included:
Enterprise-Scale Migration with Complex Relational Architecture
We delivered a comprehensive 33-page website redesign with 6 collection templates managing 286 CMS items across residential projects, commercial projects, current and upcoming developments, publications, videos, testimonials, team members, architects, and interior designers. The true complexity of this project was not just migrating content from WordPress to Webflow, but creating sophisticated connections between collections—every project displays associated team members, partners, videos, and publications, while each team member's bio page shows the projects they worked on, and each architect and interior designer page displays their collaborative projects. We improved the interactive filtering and search functionality at the top of project and partner pages, making it easier to find specific projects and company partners. The Community Service page was redesigned with a blog-style layout, and page tracking was added to resource downloads so the team can identify lead sources. Subtle design elements enhance visual engagement while maintaining the familiar navigation that stakeholders expect. The result is a faster, more secure platform with enhanced responsive design for mobile devices, cleaner architecture for easier future updates, and a comprehensive historical record that reflects three decades of exceptional custom homebuilding in the Rocky Mountain West.
